Deca Sports (Deca Sporta in Japan, Sports Island in Europe) is a sports video game for the Wii developed by Hudson Soft. It is similar to Wii Sports in that it is a collection of ten different sports simulations controlled with the Wii Remote.
The game was released in Japan on March 19, 2008, and was released in the rest of the world later in the year. In late 2007 Hudson conducted a poll to determine a new title for the Western release. The game features sponsorship by Adidas.

Jailbreak Source (Game)

Jailbreak Source is a multiplayer team-based first-person action video game, developed as a total conversion modification on the Valve Corporation's proprietary Source engine. The game is currently in beta development stages, with its first public release on the 14th of February 2007.[1] 0.2 followed a week later as a patch. The third major public version was released two months later on April 21, 2007.[2] The next release was made available just over a year later, on May 3, 2008 [4] the latest version (0.6) was released on 15 January 2010.[5]
The gamemode of Jailbreak has been a long standing staple of the modding community, appearing in many different game engines over the last ten years. Originating as a Quake II modification developed by Team Reaction, the game has seen success on the GoldSrc engine, and more recently the Unreal Tournament 2003 Engine.
This latest incarnation has been very well received by mod industry critics, being praised for its originality, graphical quality,[6] amusing executions and team based gameplay.[7] Upon the release of Jailbreak: Source 0.4, the game acquired approximately two million player minutes per month on the Steam content delivery system.[8] The team are using a release early, release often system to refine the gameplay constantly, using community feedback to expand and better the games mechanics. The mod is freely available to anyone who has purchased a Source-based game, such as Half-Life 2 or Portal.

Heavy Rain (Game)

Heavy Rain is a video game created by Quantic Dream exclusively for the PlayStation 3 gaming system. The game is written and directed by Quantic Dream's founder and CEO David Cage. Heavy Rain's story is a dramatic thriller modeled after film noir, featuring four protagonists involved with the mystery of the Origami Killer, a serial killer who uses extended periods of rainfall to drown his victims. Ethan Mars is a father who is trying to save his son from being the next victim, while investigative journalist Madison Paige, FBI profiler Norman Jayden, and private detective Scott Shelby are each trying to track down clues to the Origami Killer's identity.
The player interacts with the game by performing actions highlighted on screen related to motions on the controller, and in some cases, performing a series of quick time events during fast-paced action sequences. The player's decisions and actions during the game will affect the narrative; the main characters can be killed, and certain actions may lead to different scenes and endings. A playable demo was released on 11 February 2010. The demo was released prior to this date for people who took part in a Four Day Challenge on 5 February 2010. A patch to allow use of the PlayStation Move controller to perform the quick time events was released in September 2010. It won 2010's Game of the Year from CNN and Gaming Union. Heavy Rain also won GameSpy and IGN's 'Best PS3 Game of 2010'.

Kick-Ass is a 2010 superhero/action-comedy film based on the comic book of the same name by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr. The film was directed by Matthew Vaughn, who co-produced the film with actor Brad Pitt, and co-wrote the screenplay with Jane Goldman. The film's general release was on 26 March 2010 in the United Kingdom and on 16 April 2010 in the United States.
The film tells the story of an ordinary teenager, Dave, who sets out to become a real-life superhero, calling himself "Kick-Ass". Dave gets caught up in a bigger fight when he meets Big Daddy, a former cop who, in his quest to bring down the drug lord Frank D'Amico, has trained his 11-year-old daughter to be the ruthless vigilante Hit-Girl.
Despite having generated some controversy for its profanity and violence performed by a child actor, Kick-Ass has received mostly positive reviews.

Fallen Earth is an MMO developed by North Carolina-based Icarus Studios LLC and Fallen Earth LLC. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland located around the American Grand Canyon. Fallen Earth's gameplay features FPS/RPG hybridization, first-person/third person views, hundreds of items including improvised equipment and weapons, a real-time crafting system, various skills and abilities, factions and tactical PvP, all existing within 1000 square kilometers of usable terrain based on real-world topographical maps of the area.
The game was released on September 22, 2009 with pre-orders from Direct2Drive, Steam and the official website granting early access from September 9, 2009.

Darksiders, originally known with the subtitle Wrath of War, is an action adventure video game developed by Vigil Games and published by THQ. The game takes its inspiration from the apocalypse, with the player taking the role of War. The game was released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 5, 2010 in North America and January 8 in Europe. The PC version was released on September 23, 2010 for North America and September 24 for Europe. A sequel is currently under development and expected to be released in 2013.

Metro 2033 is an action-oriented video game with a combination of survival horror and first-person shooter elements. The game is based on the novel Metro 2033 by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky. It was developed by 4A Games in Ukraine and released in March 2010 for the Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows.[2] In March 2006, 4A Games announced a partnership with Glukhovsky to collaborate on the game. The game was announced at the 2009 Games Convention in Leipzig; a first trailer came along with the announcement.
