Real Steel - Featurette Trailer (Movie)


Real Steel is an upcoming 2011 American science fiction film starring Hugh Jackman and directed by Shawn Levy. The film is based on the 1956 short story "Steel" by Richard Matheson, though Levy replaced the story's dystopian setting with U.S. state fairs and other "old-fashioned" Americana settings. Real Steelwas in development for several years before production began in June of 2010. Filming took place primarily in the U.S. state of Michigan. Animatronic robots were built for the film, and motion capture technology was used to depict the brawling of computer-generated robots. Real Steel is scheduled to be released in both conventional and IMAX theatres on October 7, 2011.

SSX - gameplay trailer Gamescom (Game)


SSX is an upcoming snowboarding video game in the SSX series of video games from Electronic Arts. First revealed at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards under the working title SSX: Deadly Descents, the game's teaser trailer appeared to show a much darker direction to the series than previous entries, which the developers now claim to have been misrepresentative of the actual game. Although it will include the use of real locations and introduce many new gameplay mechanics, SSX will still feature the bright colors and "over-the-top arcadey gameplay" the previous titles were known for. On June 29, 2011, Sony and Nintendo both confirmed that they are testing the game for their new portable consoles. A pre-alpha version of the game was also available to play at San Diego Comic-Con International 2011, where players had the opportunity to win a 2 GB USB flash drive with pre-loaded bonus content. Along with several other new EA Sports titles, SSX will be available three days early to purchasers of the EA Sports Season Ticket.

Hard Reset is a PC-exclusive FPS from The Flying Wild Hog, a Polish developer that is made up from members of the team behind Bulletstorm (from People Can Fly), and former developers from CD Projekt Red and City Interactive.
In development since April 2009, the game will feature a cyberpunk plot. It draws inspiration from William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, and Philip K. Dick (especially Blade Runner in story). In gameplay, Doom and Serious Sam are the main inspirations; explosive barrels and large hordes of enemies will be prominent within the game. There will be no multi-player.
Hard Reset is scheduled for release in September 2011.

Kinect Star Wars is an upcoming Star Wars video game by LucasArts and Terminal Reality and published by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox 360 that utilizes the Kinect motion peripheral. Intended for players of all ages, it is set to be released December 31, 2011 in North America.
The playable character in Star Wars Kinect is a Jedi and one of several new characters who will be introduced by the game. Using the controller-free Kinect system, the player stands in front of the television and uses hands to lift and throw objects with the Force or wield a lightsaber, uses body movement to drive to control X-wing starfighters and podracers, or uses a voice component to make additional commands. It takes places during the prequel trilogy timeline of the Star Wars universe, beginning shortly after Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and concludes during the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The game also includes settings from the original trilogy, such as the planet Bespin featured in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. The player will also fight Darth Vader in the game.
