The film was written by the writers of That '70s Show, directed by Michael Dowse and starring an ensemble cast including Topher Grace, Anna Faris, Teresa Palmer, Dan Fogler, and Michelle Trachtenberg. Shooting began on the week starting February 19, 2007, in Phoenix, Arizona. The title spawns from the Eddie Money song of the same name, also played in the theatrical trailer.
